Wizz Air will launch a new subsidised service between Basel, Switzerland and Ohrid, North Macedonia, starting October 31, the airline said on Wednesday.
The flights, announced earlier this year as part of Wizz Air’s application for new state-subsidised routes from North Macedonia, will operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, using the 239-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Tickets are now available on the airline’s website.
The new route will expand Wizz Air’s network from Ohrid, complementing existing services to Dortmund, Memmingen and Vienna.
