The average price of dwellings in new residential buildings in Montenegro stood at €1,840 per square metre in 2024, according to data from the Statistical Office (Monstat), MINA-BUSINESS reported.
In the capital Podgorica, the average price was slightly lower at €1,810 per square metre.
Regionally, coastal properties had the highest average price at €2,030 per square metre, while prices in the central region averaged €945 and those in the north stood at €1,300 per square metre.
Monstat noted that the statistics do not necessarily reflect market supply and demand, as they are based on prices recorded in purchase contracts, rather than overall market trends.
