EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas will travel to Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia from May 21 to 23, the European External Action Service said on Wednesday.
In Serbia, Kallas is scheduled to meet President Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister Đuro Macut, Foreign Minister Marko Djurić, European Integration Minister Nemanja Starović, Speaker Ana Brnabić and opposition lawmakers. She will also hold talks with students and civil society groups. A press conference is planned for 1315 CET on May 22, to be livestreamed on EBS.
In Kosovo, Kallas will meet political leaders and civil society representatives. She will visit the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) and meet KFOR Commander Enrico Barduani. A press briefing is scheduled at Europe House in Pristina at 1545 CET on May 22, also livestreamed on EBS.
In North Macedonia, Kallas will meet Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski. A joint press conference will be held at 1210 CET on May 23. She will also launch the EU–North Macedonia Security and Defence Dialogue alongside Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski and visit the Balkan Medical Task Force Standing Organisation with Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski. Meetings with local youth and professionals are also planned.
