Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Wednesday invited more than 1,000 participants from 37 countries attending the “Match-Maker Albania 2025” event in Tirana to invest in Albania, emphasizing that now is the right time to do so.

Speaking at the event, which brings together investors, development agencies, and Albanian exporters focusing on tourism, real estate, and infrastructure, Rama said: “I won’t deliver a long speech. You are already here, so you don’t need convincing. But for those who are here just to take a look, they should understand—this is the time to invest in Albania.”

“It’s time to buy, even if it’s just a stone in Albania, because tomorrow will be too late. Tomorrow, everyone will want to come, to buy, and it will be too expensive for most of you,” Rama added. “So whatever you plan to buy, do it now. Whatever you want to build, do it now. Whatever profit you aim to make, do it now. Albania is starting to bloom, and its full potential remains undiscovered.”

The prime minister stressed that investment conditions would not remain as favorable in the future. “Once everyone realizes the opportunities here, it won’t be as easy as it is today. And even though yesterday was easier than today, today is still quite easy.”

“Match-Maker Albania 2025,” the country’s largest business event of the year, is organized by the Albanian Investment Development Agency. The forum aims to foster partnerships, connect Albanian exporters with international markets, and attract both domestic and foreign investment.

The platform serves as an opportunity to showcase Albania’s economic potential, facilitate business collaborations with global companies, and strengthen the “Made in Albania” brand.
