Albania and Israel are expanding bilateral cooperation through increased parliamentary engagement and direct air connections, Albanian Foreign Minister Igli Hasani said on Tuesday following a meeting with Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
Hasani said the two held “a constructive conversation” focused on deepening interparliamentary ties through mutual visits and the exchange of legislative experience.
In a post on social media, Hasani also underscored the significance of direct flights between the two countries, now operating five times a week, which he said were bolstering tourism and broader cooperation.
“These flights directly support tourism and signal growing cooperation in areas such as security, infrastructure, health, technology, innovation, and agriculture,” he wrote.
The meeting reflects a broader effort by both governments to enhance political, economic, and technological collaboration amid evolving regional and global dynamics.
