The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, held a meeting today with Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom’s special envoy for the Western Balkans, where current developments in Kosovo were discussed, with an emphasis on the consolidation of democratic institutions and the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
Haradinaj praised the vital role that the United Kingdom has played, not only in the process of Kosovo’s liberation, but also in its development after the war. He emphasized that Great Britain remains today one of the key factors of peace and stability in Kosovo and the entire region.
“Grateful for Ms. Pierce’s engagement and for the United Kingdom’s commitment to Kosovo,” Haradinaj said in a post on the social network Facebook after the meeting.
