Flying Tiger aims to open up to 13 stores across the country in the coming years, the company’s marketing manager in the Western Balkans told SeeNews in an emailed statement on Thursday, without disclosing exact locations.
Under a franchise agreement with Balfin, Flying Tiger will open a total of 50 stores across Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia over the next four years, with the first store to be launched in Skopje in October.
Flying Tiger’s presence in the Western Balkans is fully managed by Balfin, with the Albanian conglomerate being responsible for the brand’s development, store openings, operations, and marketing across the region, the marketing manager told SeeNews.
Founded in 1995, Flying Tiger has more than 1,000 stores in 38 countries, selling a diverse range of products, from home goods to toys and electronics.
Established in 1993, Balfin today operates in Austria, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Switzerland, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Canada, and the U.S., it says on its website.
