Users across six Balkan countries spent more than €31 million on OnlyFans in 2025, according to new estimates. Croatia and Slovenia led the regional ranking, while North Macedonia recorded an estimated €1.42 million in spending — although another analysis puts the figure significantly higher.

SKOPJE, Oct. 22 (BalkanView) – Users in North Macedonia spent an estimated €1.42 million on the adult-content subscription platform OnlyFans in 2025, placing the country fifth among six Balkan markets examined in a regional analysis published by Bloomberg Adria.

The estimate, produced by digital analytics service JuicySearch, suggests that users in North Macedonia spent approximately €119,000 per month, or around €3,900 per day, accessing content on the platform.

The figures are estimates rather than directly reported national sales data and do not reveal how many people paid for subscriptions or how much individual users spent.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based digital platform that allows creators to charge audiences directly for exclusive photographs, videos and other content. Although it hosts different types of creators, it is particularly associated with adult entertainment.

Croatia and Slovenia lead regional spending

Croatia recorded the highest estimated spending among the six countries, followed by Slovenia and Serbia.

According to figures reported by Bloomberg Adria, the regional ranking was as follows:

The estimates show significant differences in the size of national markets.

Croatia’s spending was more than seven times North Macedonia’s, while Slovenia’s was more than six times higher.

Serbia ranked third with nearly €8 million, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina with €2.4 million.

Montenegro recorded the lowest estimated spending, at approximately €623,000.

The ranking measures total spending rather than spending per resident. A per-capita comparison would be needed to assess relative spending levels across countries with different population sizes.

North Macedonia’s spending estimated at up to €1.88 million

A separate analysis by OnlyGuider estimated spending from North Macedonia at approximately €1.88 million for the 2025 financial year.

That is around €460,000, or 32%, higher than the JuicySearch estimate.

The difference illustrates the uncertainty involved in calculating national spending on a platform that does not publicly disclose detailed country-by-country revenue figures.

JuicySearch says its estimates are based on financial information contained in the platform operator’s audited reports, combined with its own analytical methodology.

Different assumptions and calculation methods can produce substantially different results.

Neither estimate should therefore be interpreted as an exact accounting of payments made by North Macedonian users.

Global OnlyFans spending approaches €7 billion

According to JuicySearch, spending on OnlyFans reached approximately €6.98 billion globally in the 2025 financial year, an increase of 8.7% from the previous year.

Content creators reportedly received around €5.60 billion, equivalent to approximately 80% of total spending.

The figures illustrate the scale of the subscription-based creator economy, in which users pay directly for access to content rather than relying primarily on advertising-funded platforms.

The remaining share of spending is associated with the platform’s revenue model, although the figures do not establish its net profit.

What the figures reveal — and what they do not

The regional estimates offer an indication of the economic scale of paid digital content across the Balkans.

However, they do not establish the number of active paying subscribers, the average expenditure per user or the distribution of spending between subscriptions and other paid services.

They also do not indicate how much money was earned by creators living in each country. Spending by users and earnings received by creators are separate measures.

The regional comparison should therefore be interpreted cautiously, particularly because the estimates are derived from analytical models rather than official national transaction statistics.
