A tragic accident occurred in the city of Koblenz, Germany, resulting in the deaths of three Albanian nationals and injuries to four others.
The news was confirmed by Albania’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MFA), which was notified by German authorities.
The identities of the Albanian victims have not been disclosed, nor have the circumstances surrounding the serious accident.
“The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has been informed by German authorities of a serious road accident that took place in the early hours of May 25, near the city of Koblenz, involving several Albanian nationals.
We regret to inform that as a result of this accident, three Albanian citizens lost their lives, while four others were injured and are currently receiving treatment in local hospitals.
The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Berlin and the Consulate General in Munich have been in constant contact with German authorities and have closely followed the developments. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are still ongoing.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a full recovery to those injured.
