Skopje International Airport welcomed 208,924 passengers in March, marking a 6.6% increase compared to the same month last year, despite a 4.5% reduction in capacity by its largest carrier, Wizz Air.
In the first quarter of 2025, a total of 595,546 passengers passed through Skopje Airport, which is still 1.3% less compared to the same period in 2024. According to the operator, the decline is due to weaker traffic in January and stagnation in February, with 7,727 fewer passengers overall.
However, the growth trend is expected to continue in May, with scheduled capacity up by 8.5% compared to May of the previous year.
The largest airlines by scheduled seat capacity at Skopje Airport in March 2025 include Wizz Air, Turkish Airlines, and Pegasus, which together account for the majority of air traffic.
