Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić hosted Donald Trump Jr., son of U.S. President Donald Trump, in Belgrade on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic and political ties between Serbia and the United States.

Vučić welcomed Trump Jr. at the Presidential Palace, showing him the panoramic view of the Serbian capital from the terrace.

“I showed Donald Trump Jr. the beautiful view of our capital from the terrace of the Presidency of Serbia. I am happy that our esteemed guest could feel some of the city’s energy and witness how Belgrade bridges past and future, tradition and innovation,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.

The Serbian president expressed hope that Trump Jr. would enjoy his stay and that the visit would contribute to deepening relations between the two nations.

“I hope you will cherish every moment spent in Serbia, and I believe this will mark the beginning of even stronger ties between our nations. Welcome, dear friend! Together, we build stronger connections and a brighter future,” Vučić said.

Trump Jr., an entrepreneur and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, arrived in Serbia’s capital earlier in the day. His visit is seen as part of ongoing efforts to enhance business and diplomatic relations between Serbia and the U.S.

During their meeting, Vučić and Trump Jr. discussed economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and broader political relations between the two countries. The Serbian leader highlighted Serbia’s commitment to strategic collaboration with the U.S., particularly in business and infrastructure projects.

“Our discussion was warm, focusing on bilateral relations and key global political and economic issues that shape the world today,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.

He added that the meeting symbolized a commitment to strengthening Serbia-U.S. ties and working together to address global challenges.
