The South East European University (SEEU) has been ranked as the most transparent higher education institution in North Macedonia, according to a study by the Forum for Educational Change (FECH), supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
SEEU scored 19.1 out of a possible 21 points in the transparency assessment, placing first nationwide. The report evaluates the publication of official data on the websites of public universities and their openness to information of public interest.
According to FECH, the result positions SEEU as an example of good governance and accountability in the higher education sector, distinguishing it for its advanced standards in public communication, management and regular data disclosure. The university is ranked ahead of the country’s larger public institutions.
The assessment, the report says, reflects not only the university’s internal performance but also its orientation toward European transparency standards, strengthening trust among students, academic staff and the wider public.
