Albania recorded a 7.9% increase in arrivals and a 6.4% rise in departures in February 2025 compared to the same month last year, according to the national statistics agency INSTAT.

A total of 1,059,274 Albanian and foreign citizens entered the country during the month, while 1,066,954 people departed.

Arrivals In February 2025, 543,216 Albanian citizens entered the country, an 8.5% increase from February 2024. Foreign arrivals reached 516,058, up 7.4% year-on-year.

Departures A total of 543,803 Albanian citizens left Albania in February 2025, marking a 7.2% rise from the same month last year. Foreign departures stood at 523,151, up 5.5% year-on-year.

Regional Breakdown Foreign arrivals were predominantly from Europe, accounting for 96% of the total. Southern Europe contributed the largest share at 83%, followed by Western Europe at 6%.

Year-to-Date Figures In the first two months of 2025, total arrivals rose 10.3% to 2,217,478, while total departures increased 9.3% to 2,427,253.
