South East European University (SEEU) hosted two representatives from NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Blagoj Delipetrov and Dorka Balla–Johnson, for an informative session titled “Career Opportunities in NATO.”
The event aimed to familiarize students and academic staff with the wide range of career opportunities available within NATO, one of the world’s largest political-military organizations.
The session was opened by SEEU Advisor for Community and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, who highlighted the importance of actively using NATO’s professional platforms and application opportunities.
NATO representative Dorka Balla–Johnson shared practical experience and detailed information about NATO programs, including the Internship Programme.
Meanwhile, Dr. Blagoj Delipetrov, Artificial Intelligence Architect at NATO, presented his personal experience at NATO Headquarters and explained the recruitment process, from applying through the career portal to written exams and competency-based interviews.
The presentation concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students and staff received practical advice on building careers within international organizations.
