Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic will make an official visit to Bulgaria on March 10-11 at the invitation of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, the Bulgarian presidential press office said on Friday.

The two leaders will discuss strengthening bilateral relations in key areas, including the economy, connectivity, education, science, culture, security, and regional cooperation in Southeast Europe.

Radev and his wife, Desislava Radeva, will welcome Milatovic and his wife, Milena Milatovic, with an official ceremony at St. Alexander Nevsky Square at 11 a.m. on March 10. The Montenegrin president will then pay tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Following a private meeting, the presidents will lead plenary talks with their delegations. At 1:05 p.m., in their presence, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between Montenegro’s Institute of Marine Biology and the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute, followed by a joint press conference.

On March 11, Radev and Milatovic will visit the Novo Selo training area, where they will be greeted by an honor guard from the multinational battlegroup. They will also inspect static displays of weapons and equipment and meet with Bulgarian and Montenegrin troops, the statement said. /BV
