Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani praised Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan as a long-time supporter of Kosovo and described Turkey as a crucial partner for regional peace and development.
“President Erdoğan has always stood by Kosovo—in every challenge and every success,” Osmani said in a social media post, sharing a photo of her meeting with the Turkish leader. “He is a powerful voice of friendship and shared vision, a proven friend of Kosovo, a strong advocate for our rights, and a pillar of support at every stage of our state-building journey.”
Osmani said Turkey remains a key partner in promoting peace, security and regional development.
“Our relations go beyond friendship—they are a partnership built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared vision for the future,” she added.
Osmani made the remarks while attending the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, held under the theme “Advancing Diplomacy in a Fragmented World.” This year’s event addressed international challenges amid growing global polarization and emphasized the need for diplomacy to reclaim its role as a stabilizing and peace-building force.
