Former Montenegrin state secretary Mirjana Pajković said on Monday that she has received threats and faced pressure after private video recordings allegedly involving her and a presidential adviser began circulating online.

Speaking to Croatian outlet 24sata, Pajković said she had been subjected to intimidation and attempts at blackmail following the release of the footage, which has sparked public controversy in Montenegro.

The videos reportedly involve Dejan Vukšić, an adviser to the Montenegrin president. Neither the president’s office nor Vukšić immediately responded to requests for comment.

Pajković called on women who face abuse or intimidation to report such cases to authorities, stressing that silence allows perpetrators to continue acting without consequences.

Montenegro’s police and prosecution authorities have not yet announced whether a formal investigation has been launched into the incident.
