30 Years Since Dayton Peace Agreement
Thirty years have passed since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which ended the four-year war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). In Republika Srpska, the day is observed as a public holiday, while in the Federation of BiH it is marked more quietly. Analysts note that while Dayton brought peace, political stagnation and ethnic divisions continue to hinder long-term progress.
