Albania’s exports of fruits and vegetables rose in both value and volume during the first quarter of 2025 compared with the same period last year, the government said on Monday.
Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Anila Denaj said that exports increased by 26% in value and 11% in quantity year-on-year during the January-March period.
Denaj attributed the positive performance to the hard work of Albanian farmers and the quality of their “Made in Albania” products, which are increasingly competitive in international markets.
“We are continuing to grow thanks to the tireless efforts of the excellent production-processing-export chain in our country, which we have supported and will continue to prioritize, in line with the government’s objective of reaching 1 billion euros in exports within this decade,” Denaj said.
