Borko Stefanović, deputy leader of the opposition Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), on Monday questioned Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić about the identities of two individuals referred to as “Andrej and Alek” in messages exchanged via the encrypted Sky ECC app, allegedly used by drug traffickers.

In a written statement, Stefanović cited reported communications between a suspected drug dealer and Filip Korać—who is under indictment in France for drug trafficking and murder. He said the messages mention “Andrej and Alek,” names that appear in transcripts linked to the ongoing investigation.

“There is no country in Europe where a government minister—let alone a president—is directly linked to drug trafficking, with his name, along with those of his brother and the government’s secretary-general, appearing in intercepted messages from drug dealers,” Stefanović said.

“So let me ask you: who are ‘Andrej and Alek’ in the Sky ECC communications between one of the arrested dealers and Korać?” he continued. “I have my suspicions, but I’m asking you—perhaps you know? I expect you’ll continue accusing others of links to criminal gangs, as people of your profile tend to do when caught.”

The SSP released the statement amid mounting political tensions following allegations made by SSP Vice President Marinika Tepić. Tepić claimed Vučić’s image appeared on cocaine packages seized in Tahiti—a claim Vučić rejected during a televised address on Monday evening.

Holding up photos during the broadcast, Vučić stated that the face on the packages was actually that of Colombian President Gustavo Petro. “I never used the Sky app, nor did anyone in my family,” Vučić said. “If that’s untrue, let the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office say so—and I will resign immediately.”
