The average price of new residential dwellings in Montenegro reached €2,160 per square metre in the first quarter of 2025, the country’s statistical office Monstat said on Thursday.
In the capital Podgorica, the average price stood at €2,070 per square metre, while coastal areas recorded the highest prices at €2,330. In contrast, the central region averaged €1,050 and the northern region €1,200 per square metre, Monstat said in a statement.
The agency noted that the figures are based on actual purchase contracts and do not necessarily reflect market supply and demand.
