As part of the regional initiative “Youth Engagement for Europeanization of the Balkans”, a powerful youth panel titled “What Does Europeanization Mean to Us?” will take place on 7 July 2025 at Europe House in Podgorica, gathering young voices from Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia.
The event is organized by the BIRC Institute, in cooperation with its partners NVO G.L.A.S. from Montenegro and CFID from Kosovo. It aims to elevate youth perspectives on the future of the Balkans in the context of EU integration, while fostering regional dialogue and civic participation.
Running from 10:00 to 15:30, the panel will be held in English, and is open to the public. It will feature honest and inspiring reflections from young people actively engaged in civic life and advocacy. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions, engage with speakers, and reflect on the meaning of European values in today’s Balkan societies.
“The youth panel is one of the most anticipated moments of the entire event. It’s not just about what institutions think – it’s about what young people believe, hope, and envision for their future in the European family,” said a representative from BIRC.
The broader event brings together youth, civil society organizations, and institutional stakeholders from across the region, aiming to strengthen cooperation and shape a collective path toward European integration.
