Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Monday he held “a good meeting” in Belgrade with Milorad Dodik, President of Bosnia’s Serb entity, Republika Srpska, reaffirming Serbia’s support for the entity.
“Good conversation with President Dodik. Preserving peace and stability is essential for the region. Serbia will always stand by Republika Srpska,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.
Dodik, who faces an arrest warrant issued by Bosnia’s state court in March, has since left the country on multiple occasions, mainly traveling to Serbia, but also to Israel and Russia.
Earlier this month, Vučić and Dodik met in Moscow. Vučić described the meeting on social media as “a Serbian gathering in the Kremlin with President Dodik,” while Dodik called it “a lesson and a step forward for Republika Srpska.”
