The news that SPAK (Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime) has indicted the former Mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, for dismissing a director at the municipality is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s only half the truth. How can SPAK deal with such a “mundane” case when the need to investigate major issues is screamingly urgent? In Shkodra, they say that if you look for a black cow in the dead of night, every mouse seems like a beast.
The full truth is that, after an exhaustive investigation that consumed hundreds of hours of BKH (National Bureau of Investigation) officers and prosecutors, SPAK has uncovered that Bardh Spahia:
- Concealed the Tirana Incinerator. Not only did he hide it, but he also disguised it as a landfill.
- As a doctor, Spahia not only ideated, encouraged, and conceptualized the sterilization concession, but there is reasonable suspicion that he initiated a project to sterilize government voters.
- As mayor, it has been proven that he has connections with Shkodra’s gangs, particularly the Bajrams, to whom he promised the position of the dismissed director.
- Bardh Spahia was behind the violent January 21st protest, organizing everything and even using his own money to finance the transportation of “Shkodrans” to Tirana.
- He is the mastermind behind the Toyota Yaris case, pulling all the strings behind the scenes.
- Bardh Spahia appears in every organized crime conversation on Sky, EncroChat, and Matrix applications.
- Prosecutors at SPAK have yet to decode a two-word encrypted message for which they are seeking assistance from international partners. The message reads: “Good Nadja.”
This monumental case file on Bardh Spahia will remain the pride of SPAK for the past five years and the next five to come. The delicately compiled dossier is considered the “Mona Lisa of Albanian justice.”
If anyone claims SPAK is dealing with trivialities, let them learn today that this case is not just another success but also an educational text for future generations of prosecutors:
SPAK will not stop! It is as clear as daylight that in Albania, organized crime and corruption tremble only before prosecutors who do not know where to stop!
