Montenegro’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised its citizens in the Middle East to remain at home and avoid unnecessary travel amid escalating security tensions in the region.

In a statement Saturday, the ministry cited recent rocket attacks across multiple countries in the Middle East and urged Montenegrin nationals to exercise “maximum caution,” avoid potentially dangerous locations, and follow instructions from local authorities and civil protection services.

The ministry also recommended that citizens maintain sufficient supplies of water, food, and other essentials to prepare for possible movement restrictions or emergency measures.

Montenegrin nationals requiring consular assistance were advised to contact embassies and consulates in Abu Dhabi, Ankara, Istanbul, Israel, and other regional countries. The ministry provided emergency contact numbers for 24-hour support.

“Montenegro’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide timely updates on relevant developments,” the statement said.
