In a recent statement, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned what he described as the “cheap politics” of those who use young people to cover their own “dirty deeds.” He asserted that they would not be deceived by cowardly individuals hiding behind the youth, nor would they be complicit in “false scenarios” orchestrated by those who have wronged countless young people.

Erdogan emphasized that the nation is in a critical time where fostering eternal brotherhood should be the priority, rather than spreading hate, hostility, and anger. He stressed the importance of patience, wisdom, and calm in the face of these sensitive times.

The President warned against falling for provocations, acknowledging that they must not succumb to anger or walk down paths that could lead to disaster. “We did not find this country on the streets,” Erdogan stated. “We did not build this country easily, nor did we bring it to where it is today without struggle.”

Erdogan further addressed the issue of street violence, declaring that the country could not be surrendered to street terrorism. He called on the youth to remain vigilant, urging them to be cautious of those attempting to pull them into their “murky” world.

He concluded by calling on young people to reject those who care only about their personal political careers and who disregard the greater good. “I expect our youth to condemn the incompetents and greedy politicians who see only their own ambitions,” Erdogan said.
