Croatia sent a Canadair CL-415 firefighting aircraft to Albania on Friday to help battle wildfires, the Defence Ministry said, marking the third deployment of its kind this season.
The plane was dispatched in response to an escalating wildfire emergency in Albania, the ministry said in a statement.
Croatia has previously sent the aircraft twice this summer to assist its neighbour in extinguishing blazes that have ravaged large areas of land.
