Ethnic polarisation is expected to dominate the campaign.
Separately, the Financial Action Task Force placed Bosnia on its “grey list” of jurisdictions under increased monitoring for money-laundering and terrorist-financing gaps. The combination of a vacant international overseer, upcoming elections and a financial-watchlist designation leaves the country’s EU path and post-Dayton architecture under strain.
