Albania’s naval vessel Lissus will take part in a NATO operation in the Aegean Sea, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, said on Friday.
Kingji wished the crew a successful mission and voiced confidence in their professionalism, dedication and discipline in meeting the operation’s objectives.
He said the deployment underscored the contribution of Albania’s armed forces to peace, security and the protection of human life, as well as close cooperation with NATO allies.
“This commitment reflects the valuable contribution of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania and the close cooperation with the NATO allies,” Kingji wrote on social media.
